Pros

JHM is a really good Management Company to work for. I started with the company 5 1/2 years ago as a reservations specialist, when the call center closed I was able to advance to a JHM property with the help of Human Resource through JHM. Starting with Marriott Greenville was a great opportunity for me, I started off as a front desk agent and with the great training and support from managers and co workers I was able to advance to front office supervisor. With the career advancements I've made with the company it has given me hope that i can hospitality into a career and be able to do something I love to do. Thank you JHM for allowing me to perform and do something I love to do and that's to take care of every guest that came to our property.

Cons

There is not a lot of training between the departments. Benefits are kind of expensive.

Pros

I was hired for one of JHM's new Delta properties, due to some delays the hotel wasn't able to open before the 2015 holidays so many of us were without income for the month, JHM made sure that we were all offered hours and pay as often as possible in some of their other properties. Management on all levels in all departments is always friendly and willing to answer questions. You really feel like they want to get to know who you are rather than just what you can do for them.

Cons

For me it isn't so much a con of the company, just situational. New hotel openings are always stressful, but there seemed to be a lot of disorganization throughout the process. But this isn't out of the ordinary from my experience.

First, I'd like to say welcome to our family! Opening any new hotel is a challenge for sure, but the Delta team has kept their heads high and pushed on. Our first goal is always to look out for our associates, and we were fortunate to have some great JHM hotels in Orlando that allowed us to do that by providing hours and a temporary home to our newest associates. Thank you for your comments, and I wish everyone at Delta all the best as opening day approaches.
