Pros

> JOOR is an adventure: we are building a sophisticated product at breakneck pace with a small team of incredibly talented people > On the product team, you are given a lot of responsibility which is coupled with high expectations. This means you are the main owner and advocate for features, from brainstorming with stakeholders, through drafting nitty-gritty edge cases, all the way to ensuring adoption with compelling product marketing. It is thrilling to see your ideas come to life and have a tangible impact on an industry. > In addition to this autonomy is incredible mentorship: you work cross-functionally with every team at the company and constantly get feedback and guidance on how to improve professionally. > Product at JOOR is high-impact, challenging and rewarding -- would give 5 stars on yelp ;)

Cons

Prioritization - given the importance of product work and its relevance to every team, it can be difficult to prioritize inbound requests, or at least it takes some time to truly discern how to maximize your time

Pros

I am very appreciative of my time at JOOR. Working at JOOR over the course of the last 4 years has been a really rewarding experience. Leadership is approachable and open to feedback, and they’ve created an environment where people feel valued. I’ve had plenty of opportunities to grow professionally, whether through mentorship, new responsibilities, or just being encouraged to bring ideas to the table. The company also does a great job of maintaining work-life balance. Thanks again for 4 amazing years.

Cons

No place is perfect, but most of the challenges here are normal growing pains or things leadership is actively working to improve.
