Pros

A small company that has the mid-size company infrastructure with large-company benefits. The culture is very family like, people care about you as a person and a co-worker. If you have a problem to discuss, need help finding a resource, or have feedback, speak up and you'll be heard with support. There are also opportunities to advance your skills from workshops or other courses, and the company will help pay for it such as AWS, Azure, Six-Sigma or other professional certifications that are relevant. I really enjoyed the transparency, any upcoming changes were communicated with direct feedback on what to expect. This maintains a very positive company culture driven by trust with accountability. The flexibility and agile environment made getting things done easy, where as larger companies there is often a lot of approval layers to accomplish something. Annual kickoffs early in the year were always something to look forward to, it gave everyone a chance to get together, present ideas in parallel to understanding the objectives for the year as a company. Great company, great people, very proud & grateful to have worked there. If you enjoy customer/client facing work at a place where you can be part of the internal company growth, JSPC Consulting is the place to be!

Cons

Like any company, there are challenges. All small companies share the same challenges where the resources of a larger company aren't available. However, JSPC does a great job of providing those big company resources where possible, such as health benefits, outsourcing IT Support and many other things that large companies offer allowing employee's to focus on the customer/client. There is not a dedicated "Office", although with most of the work being performed virtually or on-site with the client, this really isn't necessary.
