Pros
Great building, free coffee, free parking
Cons
Ownership is a joke. Expects long hours due to being a salaried employee, yet wants to charge vacation time for a dental cleaning. Lousy benefits. Medical for a family is through the roof. It's a very small business, so it's buying power for benefits are slim. The owner is untruthful, spineless and doesn't like to hear the truth. Very spiteful and childlike. When conflicts arises, he hides in his office, seemingly afraid to deal with conflict. Attempts to make the company look like it's bigger than it is. Website states a presence in a few other cities, but there is no presence there. Customers may be there, but be prepared to get into your car and drive the distance. Behind the scenes meetings, whispering and finger pointing. Seriously surprised the company is in business. All the negative reviews are correct, and the positive reviews, in my opinion, have to be self generated. The company pinches every penny, to the demise of it's employees. Out of town expenses are expected to be the burden of the employee, with reimbursement expectations paid weeks after incurring expenses. For a network security position, it is expected to also change hats and be sales person to generate work. Frequently needing to call customers, selling services in order to bill time. Management expects 8 hours of billed time per day, and is tracked. Work is not always fed to the employee, and when it is not supplied, it's the burden of the employee to go find it. When I say management, be aware that it's only one person, the owner. It's a mom and pop shop with 8 employees or less, half comprised of family members, which creates a conflict of interest. Unless you're starting out in the work force and need the experience, I wouldn't bother applying for any position at this company. It's very obvious to see why this company has an employee revolving door. The owner seeks 'yes men/women', and when it's brought to light that the employee doesn't fit into that space, trouble ensues.
