Pros

Some really cool people in junior staff

Cons

JTP is great at maintaining a good image while being a horribly run business with zero respect for their employees. They fired 15 employees, openly admitting that they are investing in AI rather than people. Somehow after years of paying people minimum wage and restructuring, they still struggle. Employees are expected to stay as late as 8pm with no compensation, and arriving at 9:30am deserves a notice or flex-time. Even on sick leave, you’re contacted multiple times about practice protocol. 8:30am lectures are mandatory for starters, and missing any can result in being questioned during performance reviews. Starters are expected to speak directly with the client and liaise with consultants before being trained and/or included in the design process. Management includes a mixture of insecure, unorganized, inappropriate, and manipulative individuals that know their place at JTP is secure due to favouritism. Performance reviews are meant to remind you that you’re not taking enough initiative. Since there’s “no practice hierarchy”, no one has to take responsibility for anything you didn’t understand or achieve.
