Pros
- Older staff capable and helpful - Opportunities to get management experience
Cons
- 2 15 Minute breaks per 12-hour shift (Often I did not get these) - Focus is on continually moving faster and working more hours - No trainer given to new employees, learn as you go - Lack of communication from management, temp to hires are instructed to refer all inquiries to temp agency that will then get in touch with JTS - Very physical job - Disorganized environment, due to perhaps understaffing or other reasons the environment is constantly chaotic especially during their busy time which is two weeks out of the month - Due to massive turnover rate ( 7 new clerks in three months out of ten) there is a continual barrage of mistakes that have to be corrected. - Bad culture, constant politicking and naysaying. Few people happy with their position. Older people want to leave but feel they can't, new people looking for new job - Inconsistent temp to hire arrangements - New shipping management that in my opinion is uncaring or incompetent
