Pros

Company is worldwide and some opportunities to work with different offices on interesting projects. Get to travel at times, sometimes internationally, to some interesting places for jobs. Worked with some good people at times

Cons

This place is not what it seems, at least in San Francisco. Just another typical agency with poor management and questionable politics hiding behind "culture". Company tries to foster a "great culture" with happy hours and quarterly outings. In reality, the agency lacks vision and has a lot of issues. New senior leadership team do not seem genuine and appear somewhat fake, can be quite condescending and at times abrupt with your interactions with them. Could be their personality, however this view is widely felt among employees past and present at various levels. Amazingly high turnover. In a span of about 2 years, majority of the staff have left this location(on own accord) or have been let go with some in questionable circumstances. Revolving door is an understatement. Work life balance is terrible. You will have a hard time having a life outside of work and will get burnt out at times. They quickly move you into a role that is salary (which means no OT), and work you to death with tons of overtime. It is not uncommon to work past 9pm or on weekends - typical agency. Pay is low compared to other agencies. This is odd considering the strength of the SF market and the company being widely known among the agency world for having some of the highest fees compared to other competing agencies. There are some senior people leading projects who are deceitful, two-faced, not trustworthy and poor managers. Experienced someone resource me to manage important responsibilities on a large year long project, which normally would be their responsibility, because they were too "overwhelmed" with their workload. In the end of the program, they gave compliments for "stepping up" for really helping them out as well as finding and fixing HUGE mistakes made on their part (they probably would have been fired). However they turned around, undermined my role and work with fabricated negative statements, and/or blew out of proportion minor single case situations. They manipulated the situation to their benefit to hide the fact to senior leadership of their own serious inadequacies and their inability to perform at a VP level - very questionable and deceitful business ethics. Career path seems to slow down the higher up you go on the ladder (especially after becoming salary) and the path is not always clear. Its also common to work at a higher level for quite a long time before you get recognized and are given an official promotion and subsequent pay raise. Questionable business practice.
