Pros

Employees have lots of autonomy and exclusively work from home. Working with clients is mostly interesting and challenging.

Cons

Compensation is entirely based on a percentage of your billable hours, making it difficult to maintain a stable income. (Management assigns work, so billable hours are largely out of your control.) There is no PTO because if you're not billing time, you're not making money. Employees are promised an origination bonus if they bring in work but it's very rare and difficult to bring in a client that qualifies for the bonus. Corporate leadership is weak and there aren't structured processes, knowledge sharing, or skills training investment.

Pros

Jaffe has a supportive culture and makes working remotely a joy. Colleagues are supportive of each other and friendships are built across states.

Cons

There is a bit of a ramp up period to get billable work.

Pros

Jaffe was WFH way before the pandemic, which was great. Direct contact with clients.

Cons

A bit unorganized in their systems, which caused unnecessary time not devoted to clients. Also, they were not good with feedback. They tried, but leadership took a good cop/bad cop approach when there were client related issues. Also, some of their own strategies were a bit outdated.
