Pros
Great people and excellent learning opportunities. I gained valuable experience working with customers, internal teams, and management across various functions. The role helped me build a broad and versatile skill set that's highly attractive to other companies and has set me up for long-term success.
Cons
There appears to be a disconnect between upper management and the current workforce. Some individuals in higher-level managing and scheduling positions seem to have advanced due to internal relationships rather than merit, which can undermine team morale and effectiveness. Direct management often reflects an "old guard" mentality, appearing out of touch with modern workplace expectations, particularly regarding work-life balance. While work-life balance is often emphasized in messaging, decisions such as the removal of 9/80 schedules—which were widely appreciated—suggest otherwise. These changes negatively impact employee satisfaction and well-being. Furthermore, dismissive responses to valid employee concerns—such as remarks implying that employees are replaceable ("others are waiting for your job")—are deeply unhelpful. They do not address the root causes of discontent and instead contribute to a culture of dissatisfaction and disengagement.
