Pros
I'm a black female, 40yo more than qualified and present myself quite well. The hiring manager conveniently says they're not hiring. After posting for this position for over a month (on several job boards) and says "actively hiring during Covid". THERE AREN'T ANY PROS TO BEING HUMILIATED THIS WAY.
Cons
It's demoralizing and humiliating that he allowed me to waste my time when he clearly has an idea of what his new hire will look like. Yes, I'm a black woman who is over 40 but I'm actually a human being who wants to work and has the skillset required in addition to an MBA and a great enthusiastic attitude.
