Rampant favouritism — A small group of “chosen” employees get all the visibility, benefits, appreciation, and leniency. Everyone else is treated like they are invisible, no matter how hard they work. Toxic leadership culture — Managers openly protect their favourites and ignore genuine performers. They shut down new ideas, play blame games, and create a suffocating environment where you constantly feel undervalued. Zero transparency — Decisions are taken behind closed doors, and employees are expected to simply accept them. Feedback mechanisms exist only on paper; nothing changes even after raising concerns. Unhealthy work environment — Instead of encouraging teamwork, the environment pushes people into camps and cliques. Politics overshadows real work to the point where productivity suffers massively. No career growth for non-favourites — Skill, effort, and dedication mean nothing if you are not part of the inner circle. Your growth gets blocked without any explanation. Demotivating culture — Genuine performers either burn out or stop caring because they see unqualified people getting rewarded while real contributors are ignored or sidelined.
