Pros

Innovative Work Environment: Encourages creativity and problem-solving. Opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies and impactful projects. Comprehensive Benefits: Competitive salary packages. Excellent health insurance, wellness programs, and generous leave policies. Learning and Growth: Access to extensive training resources and development programs. Encouragement for personal growth and skill enhancement. Work-Life Balance: Flexible working hours and remote work options in many roles. Amenities like on-site gyms, cafeterias, and childcare (depending on location). Collaborative Culture: Teams are diverse, intelligent, and highly motivated. Open communication and regular feedback are emphasized.

Cons

High Expectations and Pressure: Performance standards are demanding, which can lead to stress or burnout. Balancing fast-paced work with personal time can be challenging. Bureaucracy in Larger Teams: Decision-making can sometimes feel slow due to multiple layers of approval. Larger teams may reduce individual influence on projects. Limited Career Progression in Some Roles: Growth opportunities may plateau in certain positions or locations. Intense competition for promotions. Focus on Metrics: Heavy reliance on data-driven decisions may overshadow creative solutions. Employee performance evaluations can feel overly quantitative.

Pros

Some colleagues were supportive. Salary was on time.

Cons

Extreme workplace politics — Almost every decision is driven by internal lobbying rather than merit. Promotions, opportunities, and recognition depend entirely on whom you can impress, not the quality of your work. Rampant favouritism — A small group of “chosen” employees get all the visibility, benefits, appreciation, and leniency. Everyone else is treated like they are invisible, no matter how hard they work. Toxic leadership culture — Managers openly protect their favourites and ignore genuine performers. They shut down new ideas, play blame games, and create a suffocating environment where you constantly feel undervalued. Zero transparency — Decisions are taken behind closed doors, and employees are expected to simply accept them. Feedback mechanisms exist only on paper; nothing changes even after raising concerns. Unhealthy work environment — Instead of encouraging teamwork, the environment pushes people into camps and cliques. Politics overshadows real work to the point where productivity suffers massively. No career growth for non-favourites — Skill, effort, and dedication mean nothing if you are not part of the inner circle. Your growth gets blocked without any explanation. Demotivating culture — Genuine performers either burn out or stop caring because they see unqualified people getting rewarded while real contributors are ignored or sidelined.
