Pros

Cool marketing and good looking brand from the outside. Lots of companies to bounce between. You might get a decent wage.

Cons

Jason is the most manipulative person I've had the displeasure of getting to know. Initially he works the underdog image and gains sympathy, and then starts pulling strings to get what he needs. He's built a career on other peoples hard work, never bothering to actually learn how to make a quality product. He intentionally creates a chaotic work environment that never feels stable and loves to create distrust between employees. Anything to take the spotlight off of his shady behavior. He will try to learn all your dirty little secrets and hold them over you forever.

Pros

Met some incredible people, was a very fun and busy work environment at one time, great entry level learning

Cons

Zero room for growth. Upper management expects the most from their lowest paid staff and are quick to fire anybody that feels they deserve any sort of acknowledgement for their work. They cut hours during peak season, set unreachable sales goals, and have no idea how the tasting rooms even work. They have the facade of being the underdog, but they're actually just a big corporation that doesn't care about the customer or the staff.

Pros

Good entry level move into the wine industry. Fast paced environment where you get to meet so many new people.

Cons

Newer hospitality management created a lot of negativity. They came in and implemented changes and unrealistic sales goals without taking the time to experience how the tasting room actually runs on the day to day. They would cut hours constantly which would lead to stress for the staff. When issues were brought up they would place the blame elsewhere- they’d rather push people out or fire them instead of addressing issues.
