Pros

The company itself is set up well, they have stream lined the homebuilding business. They are a large company and its fairly professional for the most part.

Cons

This section could carry on for several paragraphs, but I will do my best to be concise with my experience with Jayman. I have never worked for a company that cared less about the employees than Jayman. Over the years I worked for Jayman, there were dozens of times I came to the management team bringing up an issue, or asking for help. Each time, these issues were brushed under the rug. Each time the management team would make empty promises they would never follow through with. If an employee asks for help with something, a good management team would do their best to assist with the issue, or at least help provide the supporting resources that the employee needs. Next, is the pay. In my hiring process, the management team promised an income that was nearly double what I would end up earning. To clarify, I was making minimum wage despite being promised that I would be making twice that amount. On top of this issue, instead of rewarding the sales team, Jayman will try anything not to pay their employees the full commission. They are the lowest paying homebuilder in the province and if they can find any opportunity to not pay you the full commission of the sale, they will seize it. For reference, many of Jayman's top sales people have moved to a smaller company called Excel. Excel pays better, and the organizations culture is much healthier. Whether your looking for a new job, or a new home, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

We are sorry to hear this feedback regarding your experience at Jayman BUILT. I am surprised to hear the feedback regarding Sales Management. The current Sales Manager in Edmonton started in this role in June 2019 and since this time, I have heard nothing but postive feedback regarding her support for the Sales Team. In fact, we completed a 360-degree assessment of this manager late in 2020 and the feedback from the sales team was overwhelmingly positive. I'm disappointed to hear that your experience was not the same as others. There is not doublt that compensation is unpredictable in a role that is compensated 100% by commission. Our sales compensation is extremely high for high performance, but is not the highest in the industry for low performance. I hope that you are able to find an opportunity for the future with greater income stability.
