One weeks basic training is offered to non-ACMT and then you're let loose on any Apple machine. Minimal support and guidance is offered and you're directed to look at the manuels that you don't have access to because you're not a fully qualified ACMT.
As noted, the company routinely hires a new staff member, every 3 months and lets another member go at the same time. I assume this keeps wages down and the grunt work is easy to do so why pay them more. This was confirmed by a recruitment agency.
Communication between front-houses and back-house is shambolic. Often non-repaired machined were submitted as repaired by over obnoxious assistants causing issues, delays and confusion for customers and staff.
