Pros

Wonderful coworkers who go out of their ways to help you. Mangers genuinely care about your well-being and ask for feedback all the time. No arbitrary deadlines. Everything you do directly feeds into the product. People really care about efficiency therefore minimum busy work. Fully remote, but if you choose to come to the office, they have free lunch once a week and the vibe is great in the office.

Cons

Just typical startup cons: Very modest office space. Never quite enough people to cover all the scopes that should be covered, so some great ideas have to be pushed back for the lack of bandwidth. Date documentation and knowledge management can use some improvement.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re especially glad you felt supported by your coworkers and managers while you were here. We also appreciate the candid notes on bandwidth and on improving documentation and knowledge management. We will continue to invest into both as we continue to rapidly scale and grow as a business!

Pros

Working as a Software Engineer at Jerry.ai honestly feels like being in a constant sprint with some of the sharpest minds I’ve met. The dev culture here is wild, people think fast, build fast, and expect results that actually matter. You’re given full ownership of your projects, from design to deployment, and it’s super satisfying seeing your code go live within days. The engineering problems are legit interesting too we’re talking large-scale optimization, performance tuning, and automation challenges that push you to think beyond just syntax. I really vibe with the “figure it out, ship it, and iterate” mindset. It’s high-energy, collaborative, and full of those late-night “wait, that actually worked?” moments.

Cons

If you’re someone who values crystal-clear direction and structured workflows like me, Jerry.ai might feel a bit overwhelming at times. The company’s still scaling, so processes can feel rough around the edges and sometimes documentation lags behind features, and it’s easy to get lost juggling multiple priorities. Communication across teams can get tricky too, especially when everyone’s moving a mile a minute. You learn to sync fast and over-communicate, but it takes a bit of adjusting. Also, because expectations are high, imposter syndrome can sneak in when you’re surrounded by brilliant people. But if you take it as motivation instead of pressure, you’ll grow faster than anywhere else.
