• For the summer, they take every other Friday off. • The office is only 10 minutes outside of town, but feels like it's in the wilderness.

• The quality of their work doesn't meet the standards of other agencies. • They are largely unfamiliar with industry standards for SEO and general digital marketing best practices. For example, they are completely unfamiliar with the concept of A-B testing ads, journey maps, brand story telling and much more. • Their content marketing relies solely on editorial style articles published in small town newspapers. • Most of their clients have no competition within 3-4 hours of the client's location. They use the fact that the clients do not have competition as an excuse to not pursue digital marketing and SEO best practices. • Job description did not include client management, but that was a required duty regardless. • It's a company of 4 people, and they rarely challenge each other to do better work for their clients. Most of their time is spent maintaining the status quo. • They don't believe that "health care marketing can be measured by data or conversions." • Unable to quote projects accurately to avoid going out of scope. • You'll likely end up completing intern level work to fill in the gaps. • Will continually remind you after you've begun your employment that they're "not sure if you're a good fit or not." • Are intolerant of allergies and any sounds made in the office.
