Pros
I've worked for 9 companies throughout my professional career and Jibo is by far the best. The executive team is strong, full of knowledge and has extensive experience. They are leading a company to develop/create/sell a product that has never been on the market before. People work hard, long hours (its a start-up!) and are some of the most dedicated (any funny) I have worked with. I feel respected and I am treated very well by my supervisor and I am well compensated. As with any company, the executive team sometimes has to make tough decisions about employees but I trust them implicitly to weigh all factors before making them . The number of people who have been let go are few and far between in my years here.
For comparison, I worked for a company where the CEO asked me how old I was while I was using the men's room (on a day where 10% of the company was laid off), made it clear that if you were over 40 you were too old to work there, fired women for being pregnant and asked women if they are "done popping babies out" (yes, he has been sued many, many times). Employees were routinely humiliated by the executive team in meetings. The number of days I dreaded coming to work were countless.
Jibo is the antithesis of that experience. Its an exciting place to work and the people are great!
Cons
No company is perfect. That said, there is nothing here that makes me think its time to leave.
