Pros

I'll be releasing a series of YouTube videos to inform others about the reality, potentially saving them significant expenses that could be better invested elsewhere.

Cons

Regrettably, I've encountered severe management issues with Rocky and witnessed a lack of effective leadership from Jim himself at Jim's [Fencing/Mowing] Divisions. It seems that Jim's outdated approach is hindering progress, and the associated fees for Fencing and Mowing services do not align with the value provided. I believe it's time for a change in mindset and a commitment to improvement. In an effort to shed light on these concerns,

Jim's Group Response

This franchisee was terminated for not paying a warranty fund claim in which Jim's had to pay a customer $7,000 to cover the franchisee's bad work. We moved this franchisee into another division and also multiple franchisors to try and help them be successful. Franchisee also was involved in a hit and run on CCTV and refused to provide details to the person. In the end we had to terminate this franchisee for not paying the warranty fund and our franchisee selection process let us down in this instance.

Pros

Thursday lunch was supplied which was pretty good

Cons

There was no help with your job from the start, no guidance whats so ever. Other co-workers would try to help but they were swamped as well. Management was useless. The COO has the emotional intelligence of a sock. Way in over his head. You could never get him when you needed him. The Sales process was lengthy, with no guidance made it incredibly hard. I had a 5 hour dispute over email to get commission i was owed because accounts didnt know sales was supposed to get commission until they heard it from COO. No one seems to know what they are doing. Every one was talking behind each other's back and the turn over of employees was mental. In my first 8 weeks 3 were walked out and 3 others quit from what I expect was burnout.

Pros

Flexible work hours, work independently, and get to manage your own schedule.

Cons

No actual support from the head office. High fees, no training, no technical help. They always blame franchisees and never listen. Even unfair customer complaints are pushed to you, and they never help you get paid.
