Pros

The team is amazing Relatively simple job to do despite difficult conditions

Cons

All of Head Office is related to the CEO including HR leading to insecurity in disclosures regarding working conditions. Company extremely difficult to apply for annual leave with often refusing or denying requests when they are put in. Extremely backwoods work procedures such as having to do a paper timesheet in 2024, leading to many issues surrounding unpaid overtime incorrect or messed up payroll Terrible staff retention due to difficult working conditions and pressures causing anxiety for staff. Company often dismissed staff immediately after notice period is handed in citing probation as reason for it Regional Managers talk about job seekers like they are scum rather than respecting them as people who require genuine support Labels themselves as non-for profit when daily meetings are based around efforts to claim money from the government for referrals to activities and employment. Multiple daily meetings that impact day to day structure and workflow leading to falling behind on KPI’s. Managers of branches are treated with complete disrespect and disregard Company has tendency to dangle carrot of promotion and pay increases in front of staff in hopes it will help retain them longer. Constantly being watched over the cameras without grounds for doing so KPI’s extremely unachievable, expectations to get 2 employer vacancies and 1 jobseeker placement a day alongside other extremely unachievable stats. No security in branches to keep staff safe despite being encouraged to keep people’s payments on hold. Extremely low staffing and constant feelings of being replaceable. Regional Manager Joel treats people as expendable and makes constant inappropriate or discriminatory comments about staff and jobseekers Company encourages fraudulent behaviours to pass audits. Minimal to no training on how to do the actual job leading to instances of being told off or held accountable for not correctly doing processes you either weren’t aware of or weren’t taught properly. Inconsistent communication with many aspect. Eg. jobseekers must be seen every 2 weeks… jobseekers you know won’t work only see them once a month as example. Constantly lumping pressure on underpaid staff, adding additional unpaid duties to staff who aren’t contracted to do these processes Completely inflexible working conditions with no perks. Company not open to constructive feedback regarding processes and often provides feedback in a cold and negative way that doesn’t support either staff retention or staff morale. “Leadership training” that involves staff being berated about their stats and being made to feel inadequate about their performance rather than providing genuine leadership coaching. Company utilises business management theories from 2002 rather than updating in accordance with constantly changing business landscape. Will provide no notice to complete unexpected tasks that require significant time commitments “book in 200 people for appointments before end of week” being said on a Wednesday. Will not reimburse staff for travel fees if they have to work outside of their regular working requirements. “Friday nibbles” only perk of working with the company and they provide minimal funding to allow staff to have a genuinely enjoyable experience with it. No employment perks, you come in and get paid that’s your perk. DO NOT WORK HERE ITS NOT ANGOOD PLACE AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS STAFF YOU STAND TO LOSE MORE THAN YOU GAIN FROM WORKING HERE!!!!!!
