Hours are ridiculous. Corporate expectations are ridiculous. A large number of long term employees have left. Employees no longer feel connected to the business nor do they feel important under new corporate ownership. Corporate BS is smothering the dealership group's ability to breathe thus leading to horrible employee morale and low sales volume. With over 1400 employees in the surrounding community bad news travels fast and the news of layoffs have tarnished the Joe Machens brand. Ultimately, it leads to the community rejecting the dealership group when looking to purchase a vehicle. Everyone knows that there is a high probability the dealerships will be sold off yet again within 5 years.
