Pros

Interesting work- much to learn and do (if you're allowed to learn and do actual work). As others voiced, nice co-workers (who deserve better). When Owner is in a good mood (rare), he's tolerable (barely). The creativity is there and could be out of this world awesome (reality: unbelievably stifled and labeled by Owner as a waste of time/money).

Cons

No matter your talent, skill, and drive, Owner will NOT allow you to thrive. He can't stand not being in control. It's also ridiculous how he views his customers and their projects. He takes the money and stalls; rarely is a project on time and even more rare will he assist the client in a productive way (Normal experience: Owner amps up the final project, takes the money, scoffs at/avoids/blames the client and if client finally figures out how to provide what is required, Owner asks for more money because of the change of direction). Owner doesn't value a balanced life and anyone that does will not last long. Owner shows little emotional discipline (I'm being generous here- think day/week/month long tantrums). This site drives Owner crazy: read the April reviews with a grain of salt (Owner is truly obsessive about social media and routinely spends time reading what is said).

Pros

During my employment at John Perez Graphics & Design, I learned some of the most valuable career lessons and cutting-edge design methodologies that I would have never been able to experience with any other company. These processes and John’s leadership sets them apart as leaders upon which the industry depends. His attention to detail and expectation of nothing less than the best helped shape the company into what is it today. I can honestly say that the lessons experienced, and the friendships and relationships that I was able to foster through JPGD are above all others, the deepest and most meaningful that I’ve made in my entire life. After decades of doing business with JPGD, I’m honored to say that I still consult for John Perez Graphics and Design.

Cons

None that I can immediately think of

Pros

If you want to learn how to be a good salesmen to sell not only yourself but a company as well, then this is the place to go. The owner is good with his words and knows how to make you and his clients feel safe in choosing his company. It's strange because this job wasn't that bad all the time, but the good vibes never lasted and I felt like I was always on the edge of being yelled at. There is good moments, but they do not make up for all the negatives this place has hiding within.

Cons

This company looks good on the surface, but the owner tries to stall projects, he finds ways to cheat his clients out of their money, and he abuses his staff. The owner has an abusive personality in which he over extends his control and power, and then thinks he makes it okay by throwing bonuses at his employees, but eventually the employees are too worn out and mistreated to consider money as an acceptable compensation for the abuse. The owner also would always make rude comments about his employees, clients, and even random strangers on their appearance or how stupid they may be to him.
