Pros

I learned a lot about budgeting and production at Josh Talks. I travel across India. I can meet some really good people.

Cons

Producers and editors are not treated with dignity. When a new employee joined (other departments), the CEO invited them for a group chat over coffee/breakfast. When Producers or Editors joined the company, no such group chat over coffee sessions happened. Work-life balance is dead. While all other employees get "work-from-home" on Saturdays, Producers and Editors work on Saturdays. Top leadership will always ignore you and your input. For them, you are just an attendant who will carry tripods, attach lights, and sit behind the camera. In front of my eyes, I saw the entire office becoming empty due to mass layoffs. The innocent employees had to suffer due to the company's mistakes. I saw an innocent Producer getting fired instantly (for no fault of his) because a top-level executive thought that his existence would spoil the "culture" of the organization. You are not allowed to take initiative. Do overtime at work but no payment for overtime. No cab or food during late working hours. You can not expect empathy (forget about compassion) from the top leadership. The company gave a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) to the best employees in the Production Department discouraging them from asking for any salary hike in salary after the end of a year. In other words, threaten the employee by showing him that his job is at risk so that he does not demand a salary hike. This level of toxicity is embedded in the culture of the organization.

Pros

The only Pro is that I got out before I was scammed too badly.

Cons

I applied for a job listing that I have over 15 years of experience in and it stated that it paid up to $30. I went to the orientation and they are illegally only paying $5-$8 per hour! For writing, acting, voice acting, editing, and transcription writing! Minimum wage in my state is over $16, but they still tried to illegally pay me disgustingly low wages.
