Pros

You've got a Pantone guide and over priced dog tags! Good work Jostens marketing. Way to come out with products that matter to nobody.

Cons

If customers want to know why their prices keep going up - ask Jostens legal. They love to sue anyone to intimate and bully. This leadership team is the worst in the history of this company for allowing the practice of suing their former people just because they want to leave and start something new. Rubbermaid should be ashamed for keeping this leadership team in tact. Jostens is an embarrassment. Outdated products, has-been-good-ol-boy-management and a sales force that is too scared to stand up against the management.

Pros

Some of the people are great. Pay is good.

Cons

Jostens is having a lot of issues with current management, and balancing new talent with priorities for hitting profitable numbers in preparation to sell the company. 60% of the leadership that was hired in the last 12 months have been let go or quit due to constant restructuring, and the hiring of consultants so payroll can stay below the EBITA line for future buyers. The talent they brought in were a great addition in hopes of trying to bring the company up to speed on best in class practices, but the company would rather focus on making sure the sales teams are protected, and cooking the books to make sure commissions are protected. It feels like they really only protect legacy employees as they know where the bodies are buried. I'd recommend to wait to apply to this place after they sell the company, so they can clean up leadership and have a more stable path forward. Teams members have been going to HR to work through the leadership challenges, but with the company being owned by private equity, there is no sign for improvement until they get sold.
