Pros

I thought I was valued, I thought the group was professional

Cons

When I was hired, the person I met with foolishly gave details of my employment to the group lead, thinking including him was smart; the resentment it caused sabotaged me right from day one, and all along the way. I lasted just long enough to eliminate their tech debt and then badmouths you behind your back and the individual sides with him (to be supportive) and fires you. Soon after that, a major security breach with a huge customer, exactly what I was supposed to have upgraded next, regardless of the reason for the breach the platform was ancient. Best to make yourself indispensable here or you'll eventually just get fired. Wouldn't even give a proper reference either.

We appreciate all feedback, even when it is critical. However, we want to clarify that this review contains misleading and factually incorrect statements. First and foremost, we take confidentiality agreements seriously, and publicly disclosing client information is a breach both of (i) non-disclosure terms in our employment agreements and (ii) confidentiality terms in our agreements with customers. We expect all employees, past and present, to uphold these commitments. Moreover, the description of events is inaccurate and potentially actionable. We request that you take down the client information immediately. Regarding the claims made about the employment situation, we want to emphasize that personnel decisions are made based on performance, conduct, and the needs of the business. The suggestion that an individual was hired solely to resolve technical debt and was then dismissed is an oversimplification and misrepresentation of the circumstances. Additionally, we do not condone workplace gossip or "badmouthing" employees behind their backs, and we encourage open and professional communication within our teams. We stand by our leadership team and the decisions we make to promote individuals based on skills, contributions, and organizational needs. While we understand that not every role is the right fit for every person, we are committed to fostering a supportive and professional work environment. For those considering a role with us, we encourage you to speak with current employees, ask questions during the hiring process, and form your own opinions based on firsthand experience.

Pros

1. Remote flexible work environment for many employees. 2. Competitive salary and benefits. 3. Compelling work. 4. Many engaging and approachable clients. 5. Many co-workers are intelligent and dedicated and helpful. 6. Strategic growth focused leadership. 7. Competitive product. 8. Focus on incremental continuous improvements. Small adjustments that are evaluated for their worth before adding more changes that helps limit chaos. 9. Evolving PMO. 10. HR onboarding was flawless and helped to learn about company policies and procedures.

Cons

1. Lack of camaraderie. Only a few co-workers have made the effort to welcome and connect. Quite a few co-workers focus on their work and are hard to relate with. Cliques exists. More efforts to be a more inclusive company is needed. 2. Contention between old ways and news ways of operating that has led to some in-fighting, confusion, and resistance. 3. Challenging and almost non-existent onboarding experience with PMO and immediate team. 4. Concern about heavy workloads that risk leading to burn-out. 5. Sales process needs to improve to ensure that hand-offs to delivery teams are smoother and that the clients are on the same page. 6. Lack of consistent recognition of employee’s efforts and contributions. 7. More training of process and procedures is needed. 8. Documentation can be improved across the board. 9. Lack of support from senior leadership and management. You need to be a self-starter and be comfortable with autonomy with little direction from co-workers and management. 10. Company is disconnected between departments. They operate in silos. Need more cross-functional training, knowledge sharing, and consistent processes.

Your feedback on camaraderie, PMO/team onboarding, cross-functional alignment, workload, and recognition is fair and aligns with areas we know we need to keep improving. We’re actively working on better handoffs, clearer processes, stronger documentation, and more connection across teams. We appreciate you highlighting our flexible work environment, compelling work, strong clients, and the efforts around onboarding and continuous improvement. Change takes time, but we’re committed to making it better. Thanks for the feedback!
