Pros

Good Pay ( if you want to be micromanaged and work for 12 hours a day against a few extra lakhs)

Cons

If you are joining the Bangalore office then please ignore any reviews from Jaipur office employees as that is a non engineering/ non technical centre. Here are the cons of the Bangalore office: 1. You will need to log and justify your number of hours daily precisely for each task you were working the day before. 2. No vision everything just goes with the flow here with unnecessary urgency which hampers the quality of work 3. You will be pushed to deliver things irrespective of the business value. Chances are whatever you are delivering might not even get used. Only thing which matters is that your jira board should have closed tasks. 4. Look out for reviews from actual Engineer rather than management people. If there is any good review then it is definitely rigged. 5. working 12 hours a day is sometimes not enough. 6. Very very poor appraisal 7. Maximum appraisal in 2021 around 10% and 90% people in Bangalore got 6%. Please confirm these figures before joining else you will get to know once you join :) #Dont join if you want to stay healthy technically, physically and MENTALLY! You will get equally good money from many other organisations in Bangalore.

There are several inaccuracies in these comments but the fact you feel like this is obviously really disappointing and we are looking into how we can address any valid concerns. The work the engineering team is doing in Bengaluru is incredibly important and valued - especially on MLDI, DV and the KYX platform. We have recently appointed a new HR person for the office to make sure we keep improving - it's been strange working remotely through covid and we need to work even harder than normal to foster the high performance culture - but we certainly encourage a positive work life balance and have resources available to support you. Please don't claim to represent anyone else's views though as every feedback channel we have - including anonymous ones - suggest your perception is the exception rather than the rule.

Pros

Jumio offers a ton of opportunity for growth if you’re someone who likes taking on new challenges. You can own meaningful projects, collaborate closely with teams across the company, and get real visibility with executive leadership. Because it’s a smaller organization, your impact is felt quickly and you’re able to build skills and influence processes in a way that’s hard to find at larger companies.

Cons

The pace can be intense because the company is lean and there’s always a lot happening at once. With fewer resources, you often juggle multiple priorities and need to be proactive about staying organized and focused. If you prefer very structured environments or narrow job scopes, the level of ambiguity and workload at times may feel overwhelming.

We appreciate you taking the time to write such a thorough review. It's great to hear you're having such a positive experience and couldn't agree more on the Pros you've mentioned. Thanks for painting an accurate picture - you're right in saying that Jumio might not be the best place for you if you prefer to be in larger corporate environments with a narrow job focus.
