Pros
If you push them, pay can be adequate. Nice facility with tons of amenities to distract you from what’s really going on. Gated Parking
Cons
From your first day you realize that the job you interviewed for is not what you will end up doing. Misguiding you to believe you’ll be doing social media and end up selling magazines spaces to businesses on Military bases. For the 3 or 4 people of color that work there...it’s a nightmare. A typical day is “black jokes”, hair petting, race baiting, the typical “ you know who you look like?”, comments and clear mistreatment from upper management when dealing with time off requests and potential disciplinary issues. It pays to be the status quo if you ever end up in the “HR” office. The women who work there have it just as hard. If a lady dares wear a skirt or heels...it becomes a topic of discussion in a very open manner. Insensitive comments/inappropriate and suspicious attention are a common trend on the sales floor. For most, it’s easier to ignore these kind of issues due to the fact that most of upper management is male lead with huge egos and a CEO who works on premis that condones it.
