Pros

Cons

Pros
Still some nice people work there
Cons
It used to be a nice place with a family vibe until it got caught in the classic acquisition meat grinder. Many of the key talented people, thanks to whom this place was great, either left on their own or were mercilessly thrown overboard. Now this might be a suitable place for those just starting their careers to learn a few valuable life lessons, but if you’re an established professional who respects yourself – avoid. The new management is incompetent, unable to identify or solve real problems, and only capable of cutting resources wherever possible while being obsessed with discipline and control. Of course, the lack of discipline is the real reason for the low motivation and reluctance to spend more days in the office, not the oppressive atmosphere of uncertainty, fear, distrust, hypocrisy and double standards they’ve created, replacing a natural culture of trust that had taken years to build. The company is the opposite of the image it desperately tries to project on social media. Everything about the current culture is fake, starting with the “Company Principles” – an artificial culture of cringey slogans repeated obsessively on every occasion, none of which anyone truly believes in, and each one sounds more like a confession, meaning that in reality, the exact opposite of what is declared actually happens. The owner loves to say he invests in people – but only in his social media posts and press interviews. In reality, he uses most of them as a means to achieve short-term goals in the least expensive way possible. As a result, employee turnover is extremely high. It’s also worth mentioning that this used to be an international company (by spirit), but due to the new owner’s undisguised political views, there was a noticeable "German" shift. So if you aren’t German and don’t speak the language (though non-Germans are still needed since the company serves the pan-European market), expect to feel like a second-class citizen.
Pros
The office space is nice and pleasant to be in with a big kitchen. One can work 2 days from home.
Cons
It used to be a great work environment before new management took over. While some of the changes implemented were important others were haphazardly carried out and this sadly destroyed the great company culture it once had. Salaries at the company are so low that the Ausländerbehörde would not issue work visas based on the salary. Then salaries are only raised to the minimum threshold to get the work permit. The perks that the company once had of a great company culture good for mental health, a good variety of snacks and oat milk for coffee, along with great company events are all gone so that working for such a low salary is no longer worth it. The firing or quitting of key individuals makes it so that almost everyone is overworked with no consideration or compensation.
