Work culture is cultish with the education/training department literally saying "drink the koolaid" and encouraging new hires to essentially be fanatics for the product in order to sell it. You are pressured to participate in asinine work-based social media apps on the regular and the company falsely claims to be all about transparency while obfuscating important information from clients and employees alike. They fired all of their retail-based salespeople with 2 weeks notice over a zoom call after dodging questions about job security in 2020-2021 and using them to build their foundational client base within pet stores, making their claims of valuing transparency and treating their employees like "family" laughably and demonstrably false. Consistently refused to promote from within, instead bringing in people with random unrelated managerial experience and no knowledge of pet nutrition to struggle to keep up with the demands of the job and using lower paid but better trained employees to cover those holes in experience with no compensation or reward. Customer service is a joke, with none of them being actually trained or knowledgable on the product and often giving extremely unprofessional and inconsistent responses.
