Pros

-Amazing company if freshly graduated from University. KAE provides job training (research&phone interview training) -Quirky workplace (Birthday cakes, Welcome lunch,Day away) -Most of senior management who has worked there for decades is nice and knowledgeable -Flexible work-hours

Cons

-High staff turnover -Low salary for experienced hires -Claims to be "open" to new ideas but reality proves not -Little support to train or foster experienced staff (key reason to keep you on a low salary) -Senior management not supportive as they claim in the beginning about career progress. Have only a theoretical career path. Within company only 3 people gone up the KAE career ladder -Dull and intellectually limited work for most staff if not working on outside EMEA deals -Language skills were limited for very basic assignments -8 month of the same day job no excitement or challenge -If you don't take part in cultural actives (yoga or pub crawls) senior management looks down on you as BIG emphasis on KAE culture -No work/life understanding -Some line managers are very judgemental

KAE Response

Thanks for your feedback and review. I am glad to hear that you agree with us that we have created an amazing place to work. As part of our passion for people, we have launched a number of other initiatives as requested by our staff, such as the KAE running club, Yoga lunch times, and various other out of work social events. Participation at these events is at the discretion of our people and we have, and will continue to, support an inclusive and supportive working environment. We are in the next phase of our development with a new management structure with our core projects giving all employees the opportunities to work on them from start to finish. As a result, many of our employees have greatly developed during their time at KAE, with the most successful progressing fast through the ranks and several moving from Consultant to VP or SVP. As we have just appointed a new Head of People, we are equally excited to work with her on rolling out new ways of working. If you would like to share any ideas you can think we can do it even better, then please contact us directly.
