Pros
ESOP is good if you plan on working there a long time , min 5 yrs to actually get anything from it Decent benefits if your single You can lie about your experience in the interview process to get more money when hire on. They don’t check and there’s no recourse for any new hires when it’s realized they don’t have the experience they stated when hired.
Cons
Company’s runs off the good ole boy network, doesn’t matter how great an asset you are to the company or how much experience you have, they only care about family/friends. If your not part of that group seriously don’t waste your time, you’ll get no where and never get any type of job promotion. 2 Employees made unacceptable derogatory racial slurs/ comments that offended another employee that they should have totally been fired for! BUT since they run on the good ole boy ways , it was just brushed aside and Managment told the employee that reported the incident to keep their mouth closed!! This blew me away and couldn’t believe nothing was done about this, there’s no place for using words like that!! But since those employees are buddies with one of the low level managers and he hired them on, it was all just brushed under the rug like nothing happened what a joke!! And KCI acts like the practice diversity and inclusion lol what a joke!! Those 2 employees should have been instantly let go for the racial slurs they used on the job site !!! It’s honestly sad how poorly and inefficient this company is ran, maybe the worst I’ve seen, in my time there it amazed me how much profitability was lost due to poor lower level management being in positions they have no idea what they are doing. Many better companies in the same field of work that value their employees much more then KCI does.
