Cons
No one offered help learning new techniques and information for fear of someone else being better than them. Management never focused on the employees, never knew the status of projects because we never had a staff meeting in one full year. No performance reviews, was surprised when I was laid off and nobody told me I was doing anything wrong, never had a chance to improve. When I was laid off, KCI attempted to block Unemployment Compensation, citing multiple bogus reasons such as "falsification of timesheet", "unwillingness to learn new processes", and "misrepresentation of skills during job interview". I have heard from other individuals with many successful years of employment who were let go and had the same trouble with getting Unemployment benefits.
