Pros

Remote/Flexible and Coworkers..... no additional pros

Cons

Most of the cons have already been noted in previous posts, so I will elaborate on some of the points made: • Gaslighting and broken promises: Leadership often signals empathy and makes commitments that aren’t followed through. Roles are oversold during the hiring process. • Favoritism: Personal relationships appear to drive special treatment and opportunities. • Compensation: Pay is well below market for the workload and stress level. • Workload: Constant influx of new contracts (often biweekly) without additional staffing. • Management: Leads and managers frequently defer basic questions to subordinates and share inappropriate information (e.g. terminations and employee health details), which feels unprofessional and undermines trust. • Lack of guidance: Employees are expected to solve complex tasks with little direction or support. Bottom line: Between the heavy workload, low pay, and management issues, I would not recommend working at Kentech Consulting.

Pros

None. I thought this company would be great, but the last few years I have been working here have been the worst. I regret ever applying for KENTECH in the first place. Do not make the same mistake I made, and save yourself the misery.

Cons

I have worked for KENTECH Consulting for a handful of years, and honestly, those years were some of the worst I have ever had. Working was not only incredibly stressful and exhausting but it also felt like a complete waste of my time. I put in a lot of work trying to meet management's expectations and demands, but none of my efforts were ever recognized, much less rewarded. The only time I was ever given any attention was whenever I made a mistake, even if it was minor. KENTECH has such high expectations for employees, but what is ironic is the fact that they cannot hold themselves up to the same standards they set. They do not provide any support, they often send paychecks late, they lack transparency, etc. They could not care less about employees; all they care about is themselves.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We take any feedback regarding employee experience seriously. That said, we want to provide clarity for current and prospective candidates reading this review. KENTECH Consulting operates in a regulated, deadline-driven investigations environment where performance expectations, quality standards, and accountability are clearly defined and consistently applied. Employee recognition occurs through structured feedback, performance reviews, compensation decisions, and advancement opportunities, not only in moments of correction. We also want to be clear that payroll accuracy and timeliness are treated as critical operational requirements. When isolated issues have occurred, they have been addressed promptly and transparently, as required by law and company policy. Over the past several years, we have invested significantly in leadership development, employee support structures, clearer communication, and process improvements to better align expectations with resources. We recognize that not every role or environment is the right fit for every individual, and experiences can vary, particularly during periods of growth and change. We appreciate the contributions made during this individual’s tenure and wish them success moving forward.
