Pros
- Worked with some great people. Great opportunity for networking and friends. - Learned a lot about radio sales and production. - Make friends with the promotions team and take advantage of the perks! Lots of free tickets to shows, zoo, games, etc.
Cons
- The work was super remedial: Heavy data entry. - Not too many chances to advance your career internally unless you'd like to stay in radio sales. - Minimal vacation days, takes years and years to build. Minimal time off at the holidays. - Strict clock in/out and lunch policies. The GM at the time insisted that you stay in the office as much as possible.
