Managers just pretend they know what they want but they do not know what their employees are capable of, there are 40 people and no business. Work does not matter here only business matters and business team is none and managers or engagement teams 2 people run to different countries to get the business.
Approach does not matter in this company. Just do it even if you know there can be optimization.
As higher management does not know how much work needs how much time they set unrealistic expectations and pressuring employees or leads
