If you're an immigrant, a builder, or someone who actually wants to grow as a software engineer, RUN! *Blatant favoritism: promotions and opportunities go to friends, not performers. *Gaslighting and denial: even with clear evidence, they’ll twist reality to protect management. *Unrealistic expectations masked as “urgency” or “team commitment.” *Withholding information then blaming employees for being out of sync. *Overloading hard workers while rewarding those who say the right things to the right people. *Zero psychological safety: speaking up is dangerous and usually punished. *Lack of vision or leadership: They dont know what they are doing or where they want to go. *Technically bankrupt: 10 years of experience, never seen anything like that in my whole carrier.
