The company is a specialist consultancy and provides Project Management services to the renewable industry. The industry itself is a huge selling point for me as it interests me and I firmly believe in the importance of renewable energy. Having worked at very large companies, as well as medium and small sized enterprises, I particularly like that even top management is accessible at all times and you always have a forum in which you can place your opinion whilst knowing it will be heard. I also appreciate that there are no politics and your judged for your work contributions rather than who you know and your relationship with those individuals. The company promotes staff development and you can feel an eagerness to develop within the entire company. There are regular update meetings that inform the employees about the ongoing topics in the various departments. There regular team building events, like quarterly lunches, summer events, Christmas parties etc. to increase employee engagement but also to develop team spirit, which is really important to both of the managing directors. There is flexibility and trust for you as an employee - there remote working possibilities from the start and the working hours can be allocated by yourself flexibly.

It is clear to see that so far the company's main objective was to grow their client assignments and projects, so therefore some of the company's infrastructure and the internal processes and interfaces were neglected somewhat. The company has however invested heavily in new IT Systems, Marketing, Corporate Identity, International Markets, Policies and Guidelines etc. but if you are looking for a company that has standardised processes for everything that needs doing, you will not be happy here.
