Pros
The elevator industry isn’t just about going up and down—there’s so much more to it! It’s tech-driven, packed with innovation, and deeply focused on sustainability. Working at KONE has been incredibly engaging, with cutting-edge projects that go beyond what most people imagine. KONE has also provided amazing opportunities for my career growth. My recent promotion to Senior Marketing Manager is a testament to the company’s commitment to professional development through continuous learning and exposure to global teams. One of the best parts of working for a global company is collaborating with different regions and learning from diverse perspectives, all while contributing to exciting projects around smart buildings and sustainability. Plus, KONE values work-life balance, making it easier to manage both personal and professional commitments.
Cons
That said, there are some challenges. Teams can be stretched thin due to limited resources, which can occasionally slow things down. Cross-department collaboration can also be challenging, as different teams often have competing priorities. However, despite these hurdles, the overall experience has been fantastic, and KONE remains a great place to work!
