Great work atmosphere. Great colleagues
Cons
Environment can be fast paced and unstructured
Pros
The best thing about Kreatize are the colleagues in the tech department. Super nice, not too stiff and very helpful. Also, if you want to learn a new technology or work in another team, you are mostly free to do so. Also a big shoutout to the Corona measures and how the situation was/is handled. This is how every company should do it. Very quick to react and the perfect balance of what should and what can be done.
Cons
The Kreatize tech department has a lot of problems. I'll simply list them here: -If a process does not work immediately, it will be changed within days. Problems are often blamed on the delivery process while in truth the process did not have enough time to be established. There's also the problem of people straight up skipping the defined meetings and the process when they feel like it does not help them. Short-term thinking all around. There's this internal joke that the processes change every day (in reality, it changes about once every 1.5 weeks) -Communication with colleagues or your superior usually takes a day minimum. Even an answer as simple as yes or no usually takes around a day to be answered. The company uses Slack for communication so that should not happen. It's also no rarity to be ignored once or twice in a row. -Mood in the team has been getting worse as most people realize the state that the company is in -The term "fail-safe" environment is often used but at the same time, Slack channels are used to get faster answers of responsible people when there are problems. Sometimes, this creates way more pressure than needed. "Public shaming" might be a bit too much but it feels like it goes this way. -You don't feel valued. Especially as a person. -Sometimes, decisions for a new technology or process come completely out of the blue. -Recently, the team was blamed for underperformance and instructed to work more and more efficient. The points i mentioned are just some of the negative things that i see happen in this department. I also regularly hear from colleagues in other departments of similiar things happening. People not being respected etc. Think twice, no, thrice, before working with Kreatize. There's a lot of better employers out there. Especially in tech where you can currently choose your employer, use the chance to find a better one.
