Pros

-Culture, Kaba listens to and cares for its employees. They met my accommodations without hesitation -Lack of micro managing. I feel trusted to get my job done at Kaba. Goes a long way! -Schedule flexibility in the office. I was able to choose between 730-4 or 830-5. Was also able to choose between 30 minute and 60 minute lunch breaks

Cons

I say it all the time but the only thing I’d change about Kaba is for administrative/ clerical employees to allow more remote/hybrid flexibility. Boston traffic is soul sucking!

Pros

Trying to help sick people

Cons

Almost all employees have little, to no, experience in their field, Most employees are fresh out of college or still in college. They have very little practical skills. This is a systemic problem from the lowest employee to the top executives (aka ceo friends and family). Everyone is competing to "look" the smartest. The use of AI is overwhelming, (executives are all using Claude, cubicle jockeys using copilot for all correspondence, etc. etc. ) hardly anyone is actually using the brain in their head. The employee turnover is astronomical. People quit from getting fed up or are fired because HR wants to recoup your salary. ( You need a medical note every 21 days for a standing desk, but the HR exec has a standing desk, a treadmill and an attitude) Your basically just a number in the endless revolving door of numbers. There is an unbelievable amount of finger pointing, "do-as-i-say not as-i-do" mentality , and absolutely no resolutions. Everyday is uncomfortable and abusive.
