great company - Manager Kahler Hospitality Group Employee Review

A select amount of people really care about this company and try to make it work to its former glory.

Labor disputes. No parking. Not enough staff. Wages were not competetive

Great hotels and location in downtown Rochester, MN. Long term employees in most departments.

Work environment is sloppy and needs to be cleaned up. Upper Management disappears in meetings. Poor Culture and lack of clear direction. Directors, Supervisors and hourly employees are all understaffed. Poor benefits, no incentive programs or employee relations. CEO does not care about employees, management or hotel guests. Saw improvement in 2016/2017 but that did not last long. New management team in mid-2018 has made this a hard place to work. Understaffed and lack of training. No promotion from within. No parking for employees. CEO gets angry if he finds employees parking in parking ramp. Found another job at another hotel and very happy now.
