Kaiser attracts an incredible group of young professionals who are friendly, enjoy spending time together, and forge deep and lasting professional and personal connections. Because of the firm’s size, employees have a lot of interaction with senior members of the firm early in their careers, and these leaders are excellent mentors for young professional who put in the effort to develop relationships. Also due to the firm’s size, employees are given opportunities and responsibilities far beyond that which they would receive at an equivalent experience level at another firm. For those excited by the possibility of learning quickly and taking on a great deal of responsibility, Kaiser is an incredible place to launch a career. Kaiser also attracts an impressive list of clients, especially for a firm of its size. Projects are frequently for clients at the top of their industries who turn to Kaiser for help addressing some really interesting problems.
Cons
Like any consulting firm, Kaiser frequently demands long hours. While the hours are better than at a firm where Mon. to Thurs. travel is the norm, this is certainly not a 9-5 job. The compensation used to below market level, but recent changes to the compensation structure have been a big improvement.
