Pros
Amazing cultural experiences; 4 different countries in 2 years for 4 months each, if you're looking for cultural immersion and to travel, that's a huge pro. The other trainees are also very nice, and are my friends to this day. I would recommend this job to engineers/ technical people, not business people. It is a super cool opportunity if you're up for the cultural, language, and job challenges. You also get 30 days of PTO which is unheard of in the US, perks of working for a German company. Salary is between 50-60K as far as I know if you're from the US, but travel and housing is covered by Kamax.
Cons
This was not the job for me. This company is at heart, an engineering company. I went with a background in business and was not fulfilled by the work. You spend 4 months minimum in Homburg OHM, Germany. I don't speak any German and nobody there speaks English so it's super isolating. Keep in mind, that while cultural difference are fun, it can also make work very challenging because you have different, inept communication preferences. Additionally, the overall program, at least while I was in it, was very unorganized. The communication and answers to basic questions were not answered well or at all, and as a type A person, who also had to plan for being out of the country, this was not a good fit.
