The community at Kane Street Synagogue is welcoming and kind. Other teachers are supportive, the curriculum is fun and engaging to teach, and there is easy communication with bosses.

There are only so many hours possible for my job a week, haha.

Work hours are fairly flexible and I never have to wear a suit and tie. The staff is small and the atmosphere can often be very family-like.

There is very little job security and way too much rumor drama for such a small place. There is little to no room for promotion or advancement. If someone doesn't like you for any reason, it can often hurt your career. It's more of a jump off point, rather than a place to build a career.
