Pros
Benefits. Great residents, few good staff left but the greatness of this facility left a long time ago slowly but surely Was replaced with know it nothing's that know everything. All of which are held together by their specialist staff beneath admin wise. Potential would be there but would need to be called on all their you know what stuff.
Cons
Upper upper mgmt is now sabatoged with know it nothing's that know everything- the types that say "well just do like this and then it'll work just perfectly" on top of your mounds and mounds of duties, that spider web into so many other things and make it so much harder for you, but it sounds so easy. Arrogantly on top. Eye roll included sometime after (if your lucky) This for every position..... any position honestly . Blind leading the blind- with the cherry on top knowing that one is such an incredible liability that he is at the mercy of them but is led to think he is respected because he can be manipulated and is just as rotten as their motives, although sometimes to benefit the facility just to been the rules a little bit and I have to get it by the others and get it signed off on. Tied by regs limited on what they can offer employees. Oftentimes employees misled into thinking a temporary or acting position you'll have some choice when in reality it is plopped upon you until the position is filled which who knows how long that may be. Although leadership is divided to avoid many situations the magnitude of those are in tremendous amounts- not posting a position filling it with a favorite calling this having a position description this and while working is that. Leaving employees that have worked there many years frustrated that they are unable to go to a part-time benefits position doing a temporary positions job. Also leaving the department it is labeled shorter than it was originally. Come to find out was done because of several transitions above them that are under the impression they are in the loop when in reality they are being lied to and smoke is being blown even at so many others is expenses. It is very sad that the folks that say their morals are so strong are the ones doing so and the ones you are to go to are the same ones that don't do anything only to find only tied to the regs and whatnot when beneficial or covering themselves.
