Pros

Lightspeed has a great culture and is a fun place to work and offices in Westminster are fantastic (And so are the coffee machines). The new Global CEO and Chairman have re-defined the direction of the business and there seems to exciting times ahead as we move from a research panel business to a data business. Being bold and creative is encouraged and if you have an idea then it is listened to. Lightspeed seems to be at the heart of all things (from helping the industry to modernise survey design to the Women in Research initiatives) and there are opportunities within the business and the Kantar / WPP group to learn and grow. The social committee is also active, organising summer and Christmas parties, as well as charity bake sales and table football competitions (Did I mention there is a pool and table football table in the London office?).

Cons

A lot of change can be difficult, but management are supporting people through the change. The office needs a bit more colour on the walls

Pros

None. Literally none. Amazing that I cannot think of a single thing. I’m staying because the job market is awful otherwise I am out of here.

Cons

- carousel of management. Changing every several months - constant reorganization, hired for a role you want then moved to a role without input as a part of a reorganization - employees of set up to fail - management is suspect in their talent and ability to build a culture worth having - trying to “scale” products without a client first mentality - profits over people - legacy remote work allows people to skate by without actually doing work - history of hiring suspect CEOs because of nepotism - people get paid obscene amounts for doing little work. And if they do work, it is so awful.
