Pros

- Great peer-to-peer collaboration, learning/growth is encouraged within. - Compensation is good for the relatively niche industry Kapsch serves. - Benefits are about on par if not slightly better than other companies that serve similar industries. - A lot of opportunity for growth within - Can have lenient work schedules depending on your role - Some of the best "lower level" managers and colleagues I've ever worked with are here at Kapsch. - Work/life balance can be great, or can be all over the place depending on where in the company you work.

Cons

- Management is WAY too top heavy. There are so many people in managerial roles that leave too little people in low-level or entry level positions. - Management can be extremely disorganized, and/or continuously getting rearranged and re-structured. - The experiences you have with this company can drastically change depending on what office/area you work out of, what manager you have, what customer you serve, etc. - Work/life balance can be great, or can be all over the place depending on where in the company you work.

Pros

The North American CEO Genuinely cares about the well being of the employees and made it clear that work life balance was to be respected. They publicly disclosed their vacation time they took to encourage people to catch up. The work was interesting and Kapsch is always on the bleeding edge of technology implementation in the North American Market. Every project manager I worked with on Tolling and Traffic was made me want to learn how to operate on their level. Kapsch was very inclusive, I was provided a pride version of the email signature in 2021 and was never pressured to change it to appease customers. I deeply appreciated that,

Cons

The workload can be demanding as the headcount has not caught up to pre pandemic levels caused by delays in project awards as funding dries up.
