Pros

Company can't afford to fire anyone if they perform poorly since they're understaffed. You can get away with pretty much anything you want.

Cons

Pretty much zero processes in place so everyone is scrambling to figure things out. I was a procurement rep so I engaged with suppliers for parts but there's not a reliable ERP or CRM system in place to track these things. Also no reliable document repository so everyone's working off different versions of procurement documents which has led to incorrect pricing and part ordering. Everyone is always confused and it was a hectic work place. There's not really HR either to help smooth company issues over, even if you say or do something you shouldn't it kind of just gets overlooked.

Pros

I've only been with Katalyst Space Technologies for a few weeks, but my experience so far has been extremely positive. The onboarding process has been smooth, and everyone I've interacted with has been welcoming, helpful, and genuinely excited to be part of the company. One thing that stands out is the quality of the people. I've had the chance to work alongside incredibly smart, hardworking individuals who are passionate about the mission and invested in the company's success. There is a strong sense of teamwork, and people are willing to share knowledge and support one another. The culture feels collaborative, energetic, and mission-driven. It's refreshing to be surrounded by people who care about what they're building and bring a positive attitude to work every day.

Cons

Like any startup, the company is growing and evolving, which means some processes and structures are still being refined. That comes with occasional growing pains, but it's also part of what makes the environment dynamic and full of opportunities to contribute.

Pros

Absolutely none come to my mind

Cons

I don't even know where to begin. They mass hire, then fire everyone or push everyone to quit when the last big milestone is accomplished. They lie during the interview process saying how all employees get to choose their hours, but then expect you to work 12-16 hour days and sometimes 7 day weeks. Absolutely no onboard training, no expectations or metric goals lined out, and if you are given a Performance Review, be ready to get fired, like I've seen happen to others. No PIPs, no warnings, just straight up fired. They'd rather fire the people who actually build their satellite to make room and money for big time executive hirings. The leadership including supervisors and managers are an absolute joke, the most unprofessional I've ever seen in this industry. No communication whatsoever and so quick to gaslight. Stay far away from this place, no job security and they treat you like a number. This place does not want to invest anything whatsoever into making a conducive team nor help people grow and want to stay. You will be walking on eggshells every day, it's not good for your mental or physical health. Classic churn and burn start up mentality and the co workers are toxic and jealous, clawing their way past you and will say anything to throw you under the bus. I know the economy is hard right now, but DO NOT be fooled by this "company". There are zero standards and I was shocked to see how many things they let slide on the manufacturing floor.
