Pros

Ideal location within the city which benefits to have a proper balance btw personal & professional life (This is assuming the number of hours one put in travelling to ITPL or Electronic City). 2) Based on ones performance/longevity in Keane, he/she can certainly choose what they wanna be..e.g a developer can have a career change to be a tester/BA/designer etc

Cons

1) In a firm, the more duration an employee spends their value seems to grow invaluably, but it is vice versa in Keane, where the more time an employee spends, there is very high chance of he/she becoming a LIABILITY rather than an asset. 2) There is a high insecurity amongst senior employees 3) Very less exposure to latest technolgies and no oppotunity provided to do any technical certification in any of the technologies 4) Very less payscales when compared with the industry and highly unreliable/unrealistic appraisal process.(None knows who is gonna benefit from it and what is the rational behind having such a procedure) 5) very bad employee necessities like cab (incase of late night though some managers endorse some still insist on self conveyance) , pantry etc 6)Employee satisfaction is almost nil.

Pros

They pay you. There's a severance package, if you can hold out for a year.

Cons

There haven't been any raises across the board for two years and no one above 90K is having 401K matched. The people I knew when I started were not there at the end--I can only think of one project person who was still there that I knew...and I wasn't isolated. It feels like the company is just playing at it rather than taking business development and employee retention seriously. I honestly cannot figure out how they can keep contracts. The proposal office must be very good, because my impression is that dedication to oversight of projects is basically nonexistent. In neither case was my PM for the Keane portion of the contract actually onsite.
