Pros
Lots of smart people; strong opportunities for personal and career growth (requires high level of pro-activeness); generous expense policies and lots of perks (i.e. all-hands meetings in Cancun etc.); great compensation; strong culture and very likely to remain independent (unlike other similar sized firms)
Cons
Work-life balance can be difficult, especially when you are on strategy/PE projects - sourcing/ops work offers great work-life balance but is not always as interesting; some variability in talent (some projects have amazingly smart people and others less so- the shift to a high performance culture should remedy this going forward)
